At the visitors can still witness various traditional Malay games and musical instruments, handed down through the generations,. Gendang Keling are drums struck alongside other musical instruments such as the Serunai and the Gong to the accompaniment of a Silat performance - a version of the Malay art of self defence. The Kompang, another traditional percussion instrument, is often used in welcoming guests to the village, as well as in marriage ceremonies.
